Out of Network
I am an out of network provider. My fee for individual therapy is $175 per 50-minute session. You may receive a super bill to submit to your insurance company for reimbursement.
I accept credit & debit cards or HSA accounts/cards. I do not accept checks or cash.
Why choosing an out-of-network therapist can be the healthiest move you make:
| Benefit | What it means for you |
|---|---|
| Iron-clad privacy | Because no insurance company is involved, your session notes and diagnosis stay between us. You decide who, if anyone, sees your mental-health records. |
| Personalized care | We don’t have to assign a label just to get a claim approved. Your treatment plan is based on you, not an insurance checklist. |
| Therapeutic freedom & autonomy | Together we choose the pace, length, and style of sessions without arbitrary visit limits or “one-size-fits-all” protocols. |
| True collaboration | Out-of-network care centers the client-clinician relationship; there’s no third party steering the ship or auditing your progress. |
| Transparent fees & reimbursements | You know the exact cost up front. If you choose to request reimbursement from your insurance, you might recover a percentage of the fee through out-of-network benefits using a simple “superbill.” |
| Investment in lasting change | Removing red tape lets us address root causes, not just quick fixes, often meaning fewer total sessions over time. |
Cancellation Policy
24-hour notice is required for a cancellation. Emergencies excepted, any appointments cancelled with less than a 24-hour notice will be charged the full fee of $175. Insurance will not reimburse missed appointment fees, therefore it would be the client’s responsibility for payment.
